10 Toxic beliefs that some women have about men.

Being a true feminist, I believe in equality between men and women. I can understand why some men feel frustrated, devalued and confused by women. Some women are what I call “a la carte feminists” meaning that they pick and choose the aspects of feminism that benefit them and reject the parts that they don’t like. For example they expect a guy to pay for everything despite earning their own money and being able to afford to pay.

Let’s look at some common toxic beliefs that some women have about men. I’m not saying that all women think like this. I certainly don’t. Unfortunately despite living in a more modern and equal world, both men and women still retain certain outdated toxic patriarchal notions without questioning them.

1) Men should be providers.

Hello women we no longer live in the 1950’s. A woman doesn’t need a man to open a bank account and she can have her own career and money. Why do you need a man to provide for you when you’re perfectly capable of providing for yourself or at least contributing towards your upkeep? Why should the financial pressure be on the man only?
