I’ve written many articles about both the Red Pill and Tradwife Movements. You might ask why I keep writing about them and why I’m so against them. Let people do what they want, right? Let people live their own lives. As a feminist, I’m meant to be all about letting people have choice, right? That’s partly true, though not when these movements and ideologies are toxic and harmful to society.

I don’t care if people want to be traditional even though I’m not. If a woman wants to be a SAHM or a housewife, as long as it’s her choice, I don’t see a problem with it. Often, these traditional roles can be flexible and include less traditional elements, such as the woman being more dominant. My mum was traditional and stayed at home, but she was far from submissive!

The Red Pill and Tradwife Movements call for a complete return to ultra traditional gender roles and promote strict black and white adherence to masculinity and feminity. For example, women should be submissive, homely, and not question a man’s authority. Men should be dominant, stoic, and take the lead.
