The women who profit from misogyny and why they’re more harmful than people realise.

In a world filled with misogyny and gender inequality you’d think that most women would want to carry on trying to change the world like our feminist foresisters. Whilst many women are out there trying to make the world a better and more equal place for women, unfortunately many women are perfectly happy to encourage and advocate for misogyny and patriarchy. An example of this are tradwives who are rife all over the internet.

The Tradewife Movement is a subculture of women who believe in strict traditional gender roles. They believe that a woman’s place is in the home and that wives should submit to and serve their husbands. Contrary to the belief that women shouldn’t earn a living and that only the man should bring home the bacon, there’s no doubt that some of these Tradwife TikTokers are making money off of promoting their lifestyle. One of these is Estee C Williams.

Estee who boasts 200,000 followers on TikTok, regularly posts videos about her life as a tradwife. The pretty blonde despite claiming to be so conservative, models her look on Marilyn Monroe. Wearing low cut tops that draw attention to her décolletage, covered in heavy make up and sporting a peroxide bob, her look is certainly provocative and not as wholesome as meets the eye.

I love writing. I may be controversial but I'm not afraid to say it how it is.
